Why I'm Shifting My Focus Back to Wellness

It’s been a little quiet around here lately, so I wanted to take a moment to share what’s been going on behind the scenes and why I’m making a shift in my business.

Last June, I got sick with a rare illness that came totally out of the blue. I ended up in the hospital for a week and have spent many months resting and recovering. While it’s not life threatening (Thank you Lord!), it’s involved a long and challenging recovery process. While I’ve been focusing on getting better, I’ve also been faced with other unexpected challenges along the way—one of the toughest being my mental health and body confidence.

As some of you may know, I’ve gained weight from the medications I’m still on, and it’s been a struggle. I won’t sugarcoat it—it’s been tough, and honestly, there have been moments when I’ve felt pretty down about it.

But here’s the silver lining: I’m slowly starting to feel better! While I’m not fully back to my old self just yet, I’ve learned that true healing happens from the inside out. And the key to feeling my best, both physically and emotionally, is dealing with root causes, using natural ways to heal the body, and then of course faith and emotional wellness.

That’s why I’m shifting my focus back to wellness—because it’s not just about weight loss; it’s about healing, aging well, and giving ourselves the grace we need along the way.

I truly believe that wellness starts on the inside, and working on the root causes. For me, education has been the first step in the process. So I’ll be sharing things I’ve been learning on my journey. Things like weight loss, balancing hormones like insulin and cortisol, gut health, mood and mental wellness, even beauty, confidence and mindset, and all the natural ways I’m working on my physical and mental health.

If you’re on a similar journey, I want you to know that you’re not alone. We all have moments of struggle, and it’s okay to give ourselves grace. If you’ve been struggling with body confidence, mood, or anything else related to your health, I want you to know that it’s possible to feel better—and I’m here to support you along the way.🌿✨

Thanks for being part of this journey with me. I’m excited to share more about how we can all feel our best. 💕
